Couldn’t have asked for more! Surfing with Christian was an unbelievable experience. We both had a fantastic time- we were not only both proud that we were able to ride a wave in by the end of the session but we also had a lot of fun during the learning process. Christian was both talented and entertaining. I felt quite nervous to begin with but my fears were quickly left behind. We would recommend Boosy’s surf school to anyone. An unforgettable holiday experience. Many thanks Christian!

Christian was punctual and extremely friendly. First he gave us an onshore demonstration of the easy to follow process of ‘getting up’. We then practiced this onshore where he carefully identified any difficulties we were having and showed us how to correct them.
He assured us that it was easy and I completely surprised myself by getting up on my very FIRST wave! With each wave caught, Christian gave us helpful advice on how to improve our technique and before I new it it seemed to just come naturally!
overall it was an awesome experience, and I most definitely will surf again! If you’re looking for a surfing instructor, Christian is your man!

There are no words that could accurately describe our unbelievable experience nor is there enough room to try. All I can say is “Thank You!” Christian. You are forever a part of our most amazing vacation memory and I would have it no other way! To all the people reading this, do not leave Barbados without having surfed with Boosy at Frieght’s Bay.…from the indescribable beauty, to surfing with sea turtles, to the incredible fun (thanks Christian) and the unimaginable feeling of catching your first wave (thanks again Christian!)…you never really leave Barbados; you just bring it back with you.

I am Christians sister and the Mother of Peter(5) and Luke (8).Christian has taken the boys surfing with him and from the first lesson he had them up and surfing. They love and look forward to lessons with him. His patients and time that he takes explaining things really shows. They have an excellent time learning to surf with him and the fact that he is there Uncle just makes there experiences that more special for both teacher and students.

Cheers Christian for a brilliant time, we both enjoyed the half day surf tour. extremely helpful and great fun. Christian took me and my girlfriend (who is a non surfer)up to bathsheba, showed me where to paddle out and in and also helped me with a tips while we was out. I told christian we were looking to hire a car for the rest of the week so he showed me other spots and the best was to get in and out without any problems, also taking us home the long route which was the easiest for us to drive so we didnt get lost on our own.
hopefully catch up again sometime.

If your interested in being proactive while still in the most chilled vacation paradise ever… give Christian Boos a call and do not miss out on the great experience of catching a wave. boos is amazing at teaching the technique necessary to get up and ride a wave on the very FIRST lesson – pretty sweet right.. and for a very good price! With boosy’s surf school you cant really go wrong – gettin some good surf and laughs while out in the open ocean was great and i went home with the urge to want to surf again and a great tan of course

Christian was the best surfing instructor !! He made the experience comfortable and fun. I got up on my third attempt which was amazing. He even helped us take pictures while we were up on the board. I definitely recommend him and would go back to him again! Thanks christian

I completely agree with all of the above comments. As a first timer who hates putting her head under the water I was able to stand on my third attempt and thereafter gleefully flung myself off the board at the end of each ride, with my head under the water! All down to Christian’s easy going and confidence building style of teaching. Thank you, Christian, for a memorable experience and I’ll be back for more.

There is no doubt Christian is a great surfer. What sets him apart is his skills as an instructor. I had never been on a surfboard before, but on my first lesson I was standing and surfing the waves. Christian’s joy at my first wave was almost as great as my own! It is this enthusiasm combined with easy to follow instructions and advice about technique that make Christian’s lessons safe, fun and riding waves a reality!
I recommend booking a course of lessons with Christian. He moves you on quickly and his patience, humour and love of the waves guarantees you’ll be hooked forever.

My family and I went to learn how to surf with Christian, we not only got up surfing several times we had a fantastic time doing it also! Christian is entertaining and a great teacher, and molded us into some great surfer chicks and bros!
