At Boosy’s Surf School through an easy to follow, step-by-step method we will help you build a solid surfing foundation. You get the complete safety, advice and encouragement from a surf instructor who is beside you throughout the lesson. Our instructor specifically targets areas to help improve each student’s individual technique by offering feedback and suggestions for improvement after every wave.

Your Lesson Includes
- 20 – 30 minute beach lesson to brief you on:
- safety measures
- wave conditions
- surfing technique
- and paddling into the line up
- assistance getting into your first waves;
- and individual feedback after each wave you catch.
All you need to bring is:
- Swimsuit
- A towel
- Sunscreen
- Cash (there are no credit card facilities are available)
- Foot wear, hat, sunglasses and a bottle of water are a good idea.
Your surf lesson will be held at Freights Bay (Cotton House Bay in Atlantic shores if you are looking at a map of Barbados). Surfing lessons will be postponed when conditions are unsafe.
The meeting point for your surfing lesson will be given when you make your booking. Bookings are essential.

Group Lessons
We offer group lessons with a maximum of 6 students at any one time. Safety and quality is our focus so we like to keep the groups small. This allows the surf instructor to get to know everyone in the group and give the necessary individual attention. A group lesson is the best option for families or other groups to experience surfing whilst on vacation in Barbados.
